Wen In Doubt / MW Wen In Doubt — “Wendell”
2023 Bay Gelding | 16.2H | AQHA/APHA/ABRA
No Doubt Im Lazy x Hourradicalvalentine, dam of Our Sleepy Valentine
With points in both AQHA and APHA competition and a promising start in multiple events, Wendell is an exciting prospect to develop into an all-around partner.
His training was delayed by his owner’s surgery complications, but he has made steady progress since joining Ashley Merchant’s program in July. At his first show in August, he earned APHA points in Hunter Under Saddle and Performance Halter, along with a Grand Champion halter title.
In September, he added AQHA points in Hunter Under Saddle and Performance Halter, a Reserve Grand Champion halter title, and a circuit championship in Level 1 Hunter Under Saddle. He also made his Trail debut with just one month of training in the event. He is currently learning spins, lead changes, and Showmanship.
Wendell is a striking gelding with a partial blue eye and a willing attitude. He learns quickly, is easy to work with, and settles into the show environment readily.
Programs: NSBA Sale Graduate, Premier Sires, and Super Sires.
