Gilbert is a truly exceptional all-around gelding who has helped make countless dreams come true in and out of the show pen. He is a rare “unicorn” with the talent, versatility, and mind to excel with riders of all levels.
He has been successfully shown in Western Riding, Horsemanship, Trail, Western Pleasure, Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle, Showmanship, and Halter. Gilbert has earned multiple Youth World, Select World, and Amateur Top Five finishes and is frequently the High Point All-Around Gelding at shows. He has also been shown successfully in Senior Western Pleasure and remains highly competitive.
Gilbert is suitable for every level of rider. He is a true packer for beginners, yet has the ability to step up for a high amateur or a 14–18 youth rider when needed.
What truly sets him apart is who he is outside of the show pen. Gilbert has given lessons, participated in horse camps, ridden bareback, and happily spent time in the pasture. He genuinely enjoys being someone’s special horse and takes pride in his job.
