Details, Pictures and Media
My husband and I are discussing options for our future after receiving his cancer diagnosis. . . . Since becoming the second owners, we have been extremely happy living in/traveling in, maintaining, and updating our 1996 45′ Prevost Liberty. However, now with changing realities facing us, downsizing might allow us to extend a lifestyle we’ve enjoyed so much. That’s why we will sell our beautiful Prevost and have begun looking at smaller motorhomes.
Our Prevost’s engine is a “million-mile” Series 60 Detroit with ~152,000 miles on it and a 2-speed Jake brake. The generator is a 20Kw Kohler 4-cylinder diesel with ~2950 hours on it that has just been serviced. The transmission is a 6-speed Allison automatic.
The exterior has new LED side marker lights and turn signals. A new ECM computer was installed three months ago. The water pump was replaced last summer. House and bus batteries have all been replaced within the last two years. All new tires last fall (tags purchased in 2016). The outside entertainment center has been updated to a large 4K television with a Kenwood amp/dvd combo and incredible sounding Pioneer speakers – always a hit at the resorts! There is a new fully automatic Winegard Razor TV antenna. My husband has maintained the exterior just as caringly as I have maintained the interior. The stainless exterior is such a head-turner!
We have completely updated the interior of our “grand lady.” Both the original couches are gone! They were replaced with a white leather sofa and a black/white entertainment center with an LG OLED 3D 4K television and Bose Lifestyle surround sound system. The carpeting in the lounge has been replaced with tile (temporary cheap stuff I don’t like and want to replace, but certainly better than the old carpeting!). There are two new white dining chairs. The wall coverings and ceiling trim have been updated so the interior has a black/white contemporary theme. The refrigerator has been replaced with a European-style slim LG multi-flow, and where the old freezer was is now a storage cabinet. The old TV above the dash was removed and that space has become a lighted display cabinet. There is a new Splendide washer/dryer. The bedroom has a closet carousel allowing tremendous storage. The interior is stunning, extremely clean, and in great condition!
Our bus has always had regular service, so it’s always ready to go. Our price is firm; however, we will consider trades for smaller motorhomes. We are in northern Wisconsin for the summer.
